Bad Hair Day - No Probs !

Imagine, you have to attend a hi-fashion event, a preview of A/W collection of a  famous High street label and you haven't washed your hair in 3 days. Your crowing glory is dull, limp, messy and greesy ......worried??? I am not.... Why....have a look at the pics and decide....

Have a bad hair day??  Wear a Bandana, make a high ponytail, do a side braid, or a messy bun and you are sorted. Remember, nobody knows that your tresses needed a wash, everyone  who looks at you, thinks its your fashion statement.

So, alway WEAR YOUR CONFIDENCE !!!!

In love with my threadcasa pouch

Sometimes, you get a small little gift, which becomes a prized possession, you don't want to part with..... Has it ever happened to you?

Well, as I had told you earlier, there is a lot happening, on my blogging front.....I became a part of TWC. It is a community of travel wizards, new and old, having the common passion for wandering and living life exploring our exotic planet. We had our first meeting on a beautiful rainy day, in the last week of July. There, among other gifts, was this small little pouch that stole my heart, the moment I set my eyes on it.

I am a great admirer of Indian textiles and crafts and this pouch was a great example of how you can incorporate Indian stuff in a contemporary style. It is made of cotton, in ikat print and has some subtle thread work on it. It is a utilitarian stuff and can be used on a daily basis to keep your mobile and petty cash, especially when you run errands or go on your morning walks. I donned it for a brunch that I attended with my besties....

Headgears and me

Hi ! All,

Just after publishing my blog post "sunshine and the rainbow" earlier today, I realized an interesting fact about myself ....no, I am not kidding....I just wasn't aware...
About what? This is the thought thats crossing your mind, right? Well, the small but interesting thing that I learned today about myself is......my fascination for head gear. Hmmmm....what were you thinking?
I  am so much in love with headband, hair bands, head scarves, maang tikka, passa n blah blah that I have a huge collection of such stuff. And if that was not enough, I wear my necklace / earrings as headgears. Just have a look at few of them ....

Finding the perfect crop top for curvy girls

Crop tops are a rage now, a must-have in every fashionista's list. And being the in-vogue girl that I am ,I too wanted it in my wardrobe. But there was a catch ...." I am voluptuous " and was a bit skeptical as crop top shows a bit of midriff and is not very flattering if you aren't "the wash board abs" type. It was a difficult task ahead ...
.
But , I found my perfect piece rather soon....I was randomly surfing one of my favourite
Online shopping sites www.koovs.com and I came across this one. I ordered it instantly. And I got it the next day ....yayyy!!! Hurriedly , I tried it and wow! It fitted fine. There are a few things to be kept in mind when buying a crop top -

- don't but the bralet/ bustier type...it is merciless for girls with curves.

- buy in dark hue if you are top heavy.

- preferably buy one with sleeves because anyways your mid section shows.

- go for boxy type which are a bit loose and add a cool casual touch to your attire.

- choose a skater skirt over pencil skirt as it helps disguise the small paunch You might have.

- if going for the pencil skirt crop top combo set wear a cape/ shrug/ jacket for that added oomph.

Though it was the first crop top I bought, now I have a full range which I will try to wear in upcoming posts. Have a look and let me know , if you liked :)finding the perfect crop top for curvy girls
